PUBG or PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds India recently announced one of the biggest e-Sports tournament on the country. Compared to last year’s Campus Championship which was limited for college and university students, the India series is open for all. Players just need to have reached level 20 in the game.
The PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 has a prize pool of Rs 1 crore and the registration process has already begun. The best part here is that there is no registration charge included. Having said that, we can expect a huge number of teams coming up to participate and vie for the title.
The tournament is divided into three rounds — in-game qualifier, online Playoffs and grand finale.
The in-game qualifier round will commence on January 21 and end on January 27. In the given time interval, each team will have to play a total of 15 classic matches in Erangel map, out of which best of 10 matches will be taken into the consideration for the final result.

After the in-game qualifier round, top 2000 teams will qualify for the Online Playoffs.
Online playoffs is the second stage of the tournament which will again have three round from February 10 to February 24.
Online playoffs: Round 1The top 2000 squads will be divided into 100 groups with 20 squads in each. Every group will play one match and top 4 squads from each group (400 squads) will move to the next round.

Online playoffs: Round 2400 squads from round 1 will be divided into 20 groups again with 20 squads in each group. Again, each group will play best of 1 match and just like round 1, top 4 teams from each group (80 squads) will be moved to round 3.
Online playoffs: Round 3In round 3, 80 squads from the last round will again be divided into 4 groups and each group will play best of 3-points based match. Top 5 squads (20 squads total) will be moved to the grand finale.
The 20 squads will now play one last match for the much-awaited Chicken Dinner title of the tournament.
